Getting ready for Star Wars vs. Star Trek…

From this morning’s Reddit… http://imgur.com/frbyn

May churn up some creative juices… you know, like yesterday’s greasy pork sammich.

Natural Enemies

I’ll admit that I probably didn’t have to subtitle this, but after I did, the obviousness of it made me giggle, so I left it.

I’m just catching up here…

Wait. So, the last time we did an officially sanctioned AA event was March 2009?

I think I must have been hosed down with a stream of inverse tachyons because it hardly seems like any time has passed. Clearly I’ve been watching too much television.

Or something.

Seriously? A year and a half? And what, exactly, have I done since (I’m speaking artistically here). Not much.

Perhaps I shouldn’t keep the antidepressants in the same drawer with my revolver, because I’m reaching for something.

Calvin and Hobbes

I don’t have an entry for Calvin and Hobbes, specifically, but, it reminded me of a ‘Dub’ strip I did back in 2008.

I’ll bet this thought has crossed your minds as well.

Dub was a daily strip I did for about 3 months in 2008 before a massive hard drive crash stopped me in my tracks.  You can read them all HERE.

Calvin and Hobbes

The folks over at Superpunch! are holding a contest. It involves Calvin and Hobbes. You should enter!

Here is my entry. Calvin is all grown up, but still getting advice from his friend Hobbes. Note to my mother: I’m sorry.

Cyclops

The sketch started out as a cyclops about to eat a dog, hence the open mouth. Then it was going to be a “pet” cyclops being pulled by a little girl, and that’s where the dog collar came from. But it turned into just one big giant happy cyclops, so that’s where i left it.

Cyclops

Cyclops - Karl Habegger

This is a quick sketch I did in Manga Studio Debut 4 with my Wacom Bamboo tablet. I’m loving the ink pen nibs that are available in Studio.

Almost, Maine

New poster for the Terrell Actors Playhouse performance of Almost, Maine.

Check out a show if you get the chance and tell them ‘MOOSE’ sent you.  They’ll know what you mean.
