Inspiration – An introduction

Well, it has been a looooong time since I posted at Antithesis Art. Oh how the best laid schemes of mice, men, and horrible mutant micemen gang aft agley! Scott has been keeping the Antithesis Heartbeat thumping away on his own for some time now. With that in mind, he suggested that even if we don’t have time for some artwork, we very well might have some time to write up a post. I agree. WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING!

In that spirit, allow me to introduce to you the “Inspiration” post category. It is very categorical. Generally, I’d like for us to keep to the general topic of Art and Design in general, and of course we need to consider our massive under-13 readership by keeping it clean. Here are some suggested ideas:

  • A how-to post.
  • A quick write up of a favorite artist.
  • A link to an interesting event, contest, or concept.

You know, filler. But quality, useful, excellent filler.

And of course we’d all like to get back to posting artwork. Once our schemes stop gang aft agley.

Welcome Shawn Byous

Along with a new look and a new start, Antithesis Art is pleased to welcome Shawn Byous to the ranks of the artistic hoi polloi. Please treat him with the same general disregard that you have been treating the rest of us with until international stardom visits this site. After that we will all expect much better treatment.

Antithesis Art reborn

It has been a LONG time since Antithesis Art had any activity. I’m not going to make any excuses.

As of today, Antithesis Art has a new look, feel and function. We’re going to change it up a bit by making it more blog like. Here are the new features:

  1. Comments. Love it, hate it, but talk about the art.
  2. Each member has control over their content. They can post to the current project and they can post information about what is going on in their world outside of Antithesis Art.
  3. There is now an RSS feed. Don’t miss a post by subscribing today!
  4. We hope to add a few more artists to our ranks.

We hope that the future of Antithesis Art will be full of art and fun.  Stay tuned as we will be posting up a new project sometime in the next 30 days.
